We are pleased to announce that Sierra Lima, the high-performance action boat that joined our fleet earlier this year, has now been fully coded for use on waterways across the UK.
This means Sierra Lima now joins landing craft Bravo Lima GB and Romeo Lima as being fully coded, road transportable vessels within the Livett’s fleet – each able to be deployed to productions and projects wherever they’re filming in the UK.
With her deep-V hull, 40-knot top speed and on-camera presence, Sierra Lima has already proven herself as an eye-catching hero boat for police, military and SBS-style sequences on the water. Full coding simply removes the last barrier to taking her further afield.
Alongside Bravo Lima GB and Romeo Lima, productions now have a trio of vessels that can travel to wherever the shoot is – rivers, lakes, docks, harbours or coastal locations – backed by the same expert crew and operational standards we are known for on the River Thames.
What this means for production teams
For location managers and marine coordinators planning a shoot outside London, it means one less logistical headache: rather than sourcing and vetting a new vessel and crew locally, productions can bring a boat – and a team – they already know and trust.
