Camera boats
Within our fleet we have a variety of camera boats available. All of our craft are appropriately licensed and boast the necessary speed, manoeuvrability and stability required.
Safety boats
Often when shooting on or near water, a safety boat is required. We have a number of different options available, while our crew all carry first aid and sea survival certificates.
Diving services
Livett’s can offer full diving services to the film industry, whether it be safety swimmers or full HSE dive team. We will tailor your requirements according to the production’s needs.
Marine coordination
The key to a successful piece of filming is often marine coordination. We have a number of marine coordinators available who are all extremely experienced and boast unrivalled local knowledge.
Location search
The River Thames boasts a variety of locations for filming. We are able to use our experience and knowledge to suggest the most suitable locations fit for the production’s needs.
River closures
Often the most ambitious and high profile filming activities on the Thames require a river closure. Livett’s will work with production teams to understand their needs, make recommendations and work as a liaison with the PLA to secure and execute a river closure.
Advice in gaining permissions
All filming on the River Thames requires permission from the PLA. Livett’s work extremely closely with all relevant authorities on the Thames and can provide the necessary advice about the best way to gain permission.
Stakeholder liaison
Filming often attracts a lot of attention and can potentially cause obstructions. In order to minimise this, Livett’s will work with all the relevant stakeholders at every occasion.
