We are absolutely delighted to announce that our stunning new vessel, Bravo Lima GB, has arrived home!
Having completed construction in Portsmouth and undergone successful sea trials in the Solent with boat builders PDL Marine Ltd, Bravo Lima GB made full use of its road transportable features to hitch a ride up to King George V Dock in east London.
She was then carefully craned into the water, marking the official arrival of the River Thames’ first purpose-built commercial landing craft.
Visible in the video are Bravo Lima GB’s two OXE Diesel engines, which reduces fuel consumption by over 42% compared to a modern petrol outboard of equivalent horsepower.
And instead of traditional diesel, these engines will use HVO fuel, which is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as vegetable oils, animal oils and fats. This reduces net CO2 greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 90%.

Bravo Lima GB’s arrival means she is now ready to get straight to work on the River Thames. Primary to this is her sheer flexibility – the vessel’s versatile design makes her ideal for transporting passengers and freight from miles of Thames foreshore, slipways, stairs and beaches.
She is also a superb platform for River Thames filming, river wall and foreshore surveys, and safety boat work amongst other services.
