The Marlow Murder Club TV adaptation coming to screens in 2024

The Marlow Murder Club – the hugely popular murder mystery novel that hit shelves in 2021 – is heading to the small screen in the new year.

Written by Robert Thorogood, who also created the hit BBC series Death In Paradise, the book follows the story of a group of older women who form a club to investigate a series of killings in the sleepy town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

We are delighted to say the series adds to the ever growing list of high-profile programmes the Livett’s marine filming and coordination team have been extensively involved in.

Filming for the series – which is being co-produced by ITV Studios – took place on location during summer 2023, with our team providing all marine support for many different scenes. This involved the provision of camera, safety, and picture boats, as well as safety swimmers and much more.

With filming now wrapped, first look images from the show were recently released, which you can see here.

The Marlow Murder Club is due to air in 2024 on the UKTV channel Drama, and on MASTERPIECE in the US.

We’ll be sharing more information about our work behind the scenes during filming closer to the series’ release, so stay tuned to our website for more!
