Watch the stunning video of the Reflections flotilla on the River Thames

Last month’s Reflections flotilla to mark the passing of Her Majesty the Queen and the accession of King Charles III was a truly special occasion.

The first illuminated flotilla to be seen on the River Thames for over 300 years, Reflections saw some 150 boats – all of which were decorated in glistening white lights – travel through central London in a mesmerising procession.

The culmination of the flotilla came at Tower Bridge at 8:15pm, which was bathed in purple light and raised to mark the occasion.

Produced by the fantastic team at Maritime Filming, we’re delighted to now be able to share this stunning video which perfectly encapsulates this unforgettable day:

In addition to being a tribute to the remarkable life and 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the event also had charity at its heart. Reflections has so far raised over £25,000 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) to support the construction of a new lifeboat station at Waterloo Bridge.
