Alfie
Our workboat/ tug, Alfie has recently returned from a complete refit. All the work was carried out at the PLA’s facilities in Denton, Gravesend where the boat was completely stripped down and then overhauled to the highest standard by Livett’s skilled team of engineers and fitters.
The Alfie has been newly fitted with the following:
- 2 x new engines
- New Interior.
- New joy-stick steering system.
- New fendering
- Complete paint job
- New electrics and after deck speaker.
She has gone straight back to work on arrival back to Butler’s Wharf Pier. You’ll find her working as a safety boat on the Bankside Pier extension project and we’re confident she’s going to be an invaluable asset. Not only is she an ideal safety boat, she is licenced by the PLA for towing and pushing, making her very versatile and suitable for all kinds of jobs.
Equity
The Equity has recently returned to us, fully re-fitted and newly named! Formally known as the Targa, Equity has undergone a major refit in Southampton by recommended specialists. She is a fantastic vessel for filming jobs and private transfers.
The re-fit included:
- Entirely new interior
- Repaint of the whole vessel
- New exterior woodwork including handrails
- Overhaul of both engines
The Equity is one of the few vessels on the river that offers a luxury option for small groups and with her new look we’re confident she will be very popular. Not only does she offer luxury but her speed and deck space make her the perfect camera boat. She is more stable than most small vessels and also has plenty of rigging points, a camera man’s dream!
