2014 is a new start and we are excited for what the year has in store.  As we anticipate the future, we took a moment to reflect on what an eventful year we had in 2013.

We happily took part in a whopping 50 filming jobs ranging from Hollywood Blockbusters, British Films, Television Documentaries and even a music video.

Such a successful year in for the cinematic world highlights the fact that the London film industry is thriving and the River Thames has been a prime setting.

Among our Hollywood jobs, marine coordination as well as camera and safety boats were provided for films including Prime Gunman featuring Sean Penn on Tower Bridge, Mordecai starring Johnny Depp in the Royal Docks and Thor 2 featuring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in Greenwich.

Additionally, we can add Jupiter Ascending (Channing Tatum & Mila Kunis), Man from UNCLE (Henry Cavill), Woman in Black 2, Black Sea (Jude Law), Fast and Furious 6 (Paul Walker) and even the Muppets Most Wanted to our catalogue.

We also assisted the British television industry with work on an episode of BBC’s Luther staring Idris Elba (Nelson Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom) and Silent Witness, the British filming with work on The Theory of Everything (Eddie Redmayne), and the British music industry with a One Direction music video.

Our work on filming projects big and small alike span the length of the Thames from Henley to the Estuary and the River Medway.  Work was coordinated as far upstream as Henley for the Theory of Everything, into the Medway for Black Sea, all the way down to Tower Bridge for helicopter organization for Prime Gunman and filming in West India & Royal Docks for Fast & Furious 6, Man from UNCLE and Mordecai.

We anticipate the momentum will carry into 2014 and we are certainly looking forward to getting involved with even more rewarding projects!

If you require filming work along the Thames this year, we are happy to lend our expertise. Please contact Livett’s Launches Event Coordinator, Ed on 0207 378 1211 or email Edward@livetts.co.uk.
