Thames Bosun
About Thames Bosun
Thames Bosun is a versatile multicat-style workboat, purpose-built to support a wide variety of marine operations throughout the River Thames.
Originally constructed in 1994, she underwent a full refit in 2025 after joining the Livett’s fleet, bringing her up to modern operational standards.
Fully licensed by the PLA for Category C and D waters, the twin screw vessel is equipped with a 2T hydraulic winch, hydraulic loading crane, two 13m hydraulic spud legs, plough dredge, and hydraulic bow thruster – making her ideal for barge handling, dredging, and marine logistics tasks.
She also boasts ample deck space, with a 2.4m bow opening for easy loading.

- Barge handling and pushing
