We are delighted to announce that Bennett’s Barges have been awarded ISO 14001:2015 certification following the successful completion of an assessment by the BSI.
The audit, which took place in June 2019, confirmed that Bennett’s Barges’ Environmental Management System (EMS) exceeds the requirements of the international standard governing environmental management.
In vessel terms, this requires us to have in place management systems and processes detailing how we will minimise pollution from oil, garbage and exhaust emissions.
Being both ISO 14001 and ISM accredited sends a strong message to our customers that we are compliant, operating responsibly and that the quality of our business is constantly improving.
We are extremely proud to have been recognised for our continued commitment to high environmental standards. We would like to thank and congratulate our fantastic team, both afloat and ashore, for their hard work and commitment in achieving this superb result.
