WE SPECIALISE IN
RIVER THAMES FILMING
Livett’s have a team of marine coordinators who have vast experience of filming on the River Thames. For example, Director of Livett’s Group, Chris Livett, has coordinated some of the most technically complex stunt sequences the river has ever seen – such as dramatic James Bond scenes and the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
We offer a wide range of marine services to the film and TV production industry for River Thames filming. No matter the budget or the scale of the shoot, we offer the following to the film and TV industry:
- Camera Boats
- Safety Boats
- Diving Services
- Marine Coordination
- Location Search
- Risk Assessments
- River Closures
- Advice in gaining permissions
- Stakeholder liaison
Filming on the River Thames has taken place as part of the production in a huge number of blockbuster movies and TV hits. Livett’s have proudly and successfully worked on many of these – and we are looking forward to helping produce many more to come. We invite you to scroll through the gallery below to get a taste of some of the films we have worked on:
SOME FILMS WE'VE WORKED ON/
We work closely with Film London and the Port of London Authority as well as many other key River Thames stakeholders to ensure you get the shots you require.
All commercial filming and photography on the River Thames requires a licence from the Port of London Authority. Livett’s work closely with location managers and production teams to ensure liaison with the PLA runs smoothly and that they are satisfied with the filming that’s taken place.
Our Captained 12 capacity work boats start at just £320 + VAT but for a full list of our boats, piers and pontoons see our Fleet Gallery.
We have up to £30,000,000 combined Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance as well as appropriate insurance for all of our vessels when filming on the River Thames. See full insurance cover and information.
