We are delighted to see another film we’ve worked on receive significant industry recognition.
Upcoming British survival drama The End We Start From, which stars Jodie Comer, Benedict Cumberbatch, Katherine Waterston and Mark Strong, has been nominated for a staggering nine awards at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA).
Livett’s marine film services and coordination team were heavily involved in the production, providing our range of expert support services for the movie’s water-based scenes.
It marked the second time we have had the pleasure of working with Jodie Comer in quick succession, following the Killing Eve finale which unfolded on the River Thames.
The End We Start From follows the journey of a new mother and her baby, who abandon their London home and flee northwards after an ecological crisis leads to the capital becoming engulfed in floodwater.
Awards the film has been nominated for include Best Lead Performance for Jodie Comer, as well as Best Cinematography and Best Effects.
The nominations come hot on the heels of the film’s teaser trailer release, which you can watch below:
