We were thrilled to have Coleen Rooney and her line-up of models on board one our luxury event boats, the Erasmus, to launch her new swimwear range in association with Littlewoods. With press, models, make-up artists and various event coordinators on board the day was a huge success and was a very exciting type of project to be involved in.
We used the lower and middle decks of the Erasmus to make the event work. The middle deck was used as a wardrobe/ hair and make-up area, while the lower deck was the setting for a full fashion show, complete with branding, seating and of course, a catwalk. The lovely weather on the day also meant the open upper deck was a perfect location for interviews with Coleen as well pictures of the models with the London Eye as a perfect London backdrop.
Back in February the another of our event vessels, the Elizabethan, provided a unique setting for a drama production created by Offstage, a company specializing in using unusual locations as a dynamic stage. Much like that venture, Coleen’s fashion show is a great example of how the Livett’s can use our fleet to provide solutions for a rare variety of projects. In this case, the space and layout of the Erasmus enabled a large open area to be dressed and branded to host the event, as well as an entire deck dedicated to the behind the scenes work necessary to execute the whole plan.
