Another Hollywood blockbuster that Livett’s helped produce hits the big screen today.
A Quiet Place: Day One – a spin-off from one of the biggest new horror film franchises in recent years – tells the story of how the sound-hunting aliens first land on Earth.
Although the film is set in New York City, principal photography took place in London – including riverside scenes that Livett’s River Thames filming and marine coordination teams oversaw.
We assisted with two scenes: one filmed at Pontoon Dock in 2023, and another earlier this year at our then-recently acquired Durham Wharf base.
The latter scene was significant for a number of reasons, but we don’t want to spoil the film for you the day it’s released. Instead, we’ll be sharing more information about the stunt carried out here in our dedicated portfolio piece, so stay tuned for that.
Across both scenes, a variety of vessels were deployed as camera, action, and safety boats – including Bravo Lima GB, Thames Vixen, Scheldemond I, and LP1.
Take a look at the final trailer for the film and see if you can spot the scenes we might have been involved with:
A Quiet Place: Day One is out now, so make sure you get down to the cinema and enjoy another thrilling entrance in the franchise!
