Ever wondered what it takes to pull off a one-of-a-kind PR stunt on the River Thames?

Thanks to a fascinating new behind-the-scenes documentary from Creative Players, you can now find out.

The film details the build-up to Sky Brown skating on a floating half-pipe on the river. The first stunt of its kind on the river, this was a truly jaw-dropping activation overseen by the fantastic team at creative content agency WING.

The short film provides a rare insight into the makings of a successful stunt on the Thames. This includes the construction of the half-pipe ramp, capturing the event with drone filming, and the legacy Sky wanted to leave behind.

WING worked extensively with TAG Heuer, Livett’s, and all parties to successfully put on this stunt starring Team GB’s youngest-ever Olympic medallist.

As Will Ingham, stunt director at WING, explains in the video: “It’s been three-and-a-half months to pull it all together. And it’s funny because when you look behind you just think, ‘Well, it’s just a barge with a couple of buses’, but it’s a little bit more than that!”
